RICS: Modus online

When the pandemic hit in 2019, RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) did the sensible thing - they switched all communication with their members to digital. This meant taking the multi-award winning Modus magazine online and doing it quickly (from brief to live date in under two months). Part of the brief was to do this without losing the distinctive visual identity and quality of a print publication that had set the industry standard for the last ten years. The new online version won Editor and Art Director of the Year at the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards in 2021, just 18 months after launch.
